Born in 1979 in Ancienne-Lorette, Dominic Champagne began writing poetry at the tender age of 16. Now the author of four collections of poetry including Le cochon (The Pig) and 2547, he self-published his latest collection, L’homme Ours Éléphant (Man Bear Elephant). He received a B.A. from UQAM in 2006. During his studies in literature and film, he participated in several open mic nights. He then moved back to Quebec City, where he is now part of the Festival des écrits de l’ombre.
