Co-founder of the Il va sans dire Theatre, author and director, Dominic Champagne has created more than 100 shows for theatre, circus, opera and television, namely: Zumanity, Love, Varekai, Another Brick In The Wall, Les 3 Mousquetaires, Moby Dick, Besbouss autopsie d’un révolté, Tout ça m’assassine, Le Boss est mort, Paradis Perdu and L’Odyssée.
In 2012, he published Le Gouvernement invisible byÉditions Têtes premières. He is also the co-author of Tout ça m’assassine as well as a collaborator on the book Sortie le Québec du pétrole. As for theatre, he has published, among others, L’Odyssée, 38, La mort de Falxtaff, Cabaret neiges noires and La cité interdit.
Dominic Champagne has received several awards and distinctions including l’Ordre du Canada in 2008. In 2012, he received the Gascon-Roux Award for his staging of Ha ha! at the TNM and the prestigious Gascon-Thomas Award for his entire career. He is co-spokesperson for Le Pacte de la transition.
