Jonathan Lamy is a practitioner of written poetry, sound poetry, poetry in action and the study of poetry. He has published Le vertige dans la bouche at Éditions du Noroît, which will soon publish his second volume of poetry. He holds a Master’s degree in literary studies from UQÀM, where he is completing a PhD thesis while working as a research assistant and lecturer. A critic and researcher who is interested in Aboriginal issues, performance art, and Quebec poetry, Lamy has taken part in many conferences and published book reviews and articles in periodicals and collective works. With Les Productions Arreuh, which he co-directs, he has orchestrated various poetic interventions in venues like the Marché de la poésie de Montréal. He has also taken part in the Rencontre internationale d’art performance de Québec and, with the VX Collective, in the Nuit blanche during the Montréal High Lights Festival.
