Tania Langlais

Tania Langlais was born in Montreal in 1979. For her first volume of poetry, Douze bêtes aux chemises de l’homme (Les Herbes rouges, 2000), she received the Émile-Nelligan Award and unanimous praise from the critics. Her second collection, La Clarté s’installe comme un chat, based on the unfinished notes by Mallarmé entitled Pour un tombeau d’Anatole, was published in November 2004, also by Les Herbes rouges.
