Sarah Manya is a choreographer and interdisciplinary performance maker. Her work has been performed in Europe, Canada, and the United States, in festivals such as Springdance, Festival Something Raw, Motel Mozaique, and Festival Tweetakt. Sarah has held guest artist positions at New York University and at the Amsterdam School of the Arts Modern Theater Dance Department, among others. As a performer, she has worked with Felix Ruckert, Martin Butler, and Vloeistof. Her recent residencies include the Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, the Centre de Création O Vertigo, and the Atlantic Center for the Arts. Sarah holds a double degree in Dance and Russian Studies from Smith College and a postgraduate degree from DasArts, Advanced Programme for Theatre and Dance, a prestigious program for performance makers in Amsterdam, Netherlands. She is also the recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship in Choreography.
