Clea Minaker

Clea Minaker directs, performs, and designs for collaborations in; music, theatre, film, dance, opera, and community arts. Her work uses, as raw material; light, shadow, projection, ephemeral spaces, clandestine manipulation, and minimalist narratives. She has created with Feist (The Reminder Tour 2008), Atom Egoyan (Salomé 2013), Hajra Waheed (Art Dubai 2014) and many, more wonderful artists. She presented her creation The Book of Thel, (from a poem by William Blake), at Theatre Lachapelle in 2013. Clea completed three years of study at L’École Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette (Charleville Mézières, France) in 2005. In 2009, Clea was awarded,the Siminovitch Protégé Prize for Theatre Design by prize Laureat Ronnie Burkett.
