Dominique Pétrin was born in 1976 during the Montréal Olympics; she is thus a multidisciplinary artist. She became known through her anti-diplomatic performances with the music group Les Georges Leningrad. She is a pioneer in the new generation of silkscreeners and integrates that practice in spectacular “sound and light” shows. She is interested in hypnosis, in tricks, and in unexplained phenomena. She has collaborated with choreographer Lynda Gaudreau, Jerusalem in my Heart and Sophie Calle. At the moment she is studying Cognitive Sciences at the University of Montréal.
