Les Sirènes

Woe to the sailor who goes near the place where he hears the voices of the sirens: his boat will inevitably break up and founder among the shoals. Gathered under the sign of the drama of love, Marie Davidson, Alice Tougas St-Jak, and Geraldine Bureau bewitch by using the snares of echo, reverb and feedback. Their pieces are selected parts of improvisation, of tension between the melodious and pure noises. Mixing together improvised instruments, artificial voices and an all too feminine rage, they succeed in creating cinematographical ambiances, ethereal and disquieting, and in hypnotizing the adventurous listener.
