La chambre des lutteurs is an installation-performance comprised of puppets, shadow theatre and musical instruments which are animated low-frequencies. Spectators are invited to “resonate” with wrestling couples. Marcelle Hudon is a puppeteer who works with shadows, objects, masks, video cameras and puppets. The stage is an extension of her studio. Maxime Rioux creates installation-performances in which bodies, objects and musical instruments interact on stage by way of sound vibrations. They are jointly working on the creation of the Pavillon des immortels heureux, an automaton shadow puppet installation.
