From the sublime to the ridiculous, Le Mouvement Ouvrier 2 explores how we as humans are interconnected with all things: objects, memories, the future, places, spaces and surfaces, and other humans. Through interaction with these many relationships, my goal is to draw attention to where we are and what is there— looking at how these inter-relationships construct each other’s identity in the moment. I am looking to bring attention to the liveliness of the material world and to the empty space surrounding our bodies.
I’m looking at the places for slippage between one physical incarnation of form to another. From a state of roving present-centered awareness, this performance is a celebration in which I will engage with the Casa del Popolo, its history, and my history with it.
