Les Padox are giant characters that move as a group and who always perform the same gestures in unison. The Padox character sets his gaze on the city, society and the individual. A naïve gaze that is neither critical nor complacent. For Padox knows nothing, he has no cultural experience or any preconceived notions. He observes, imitates and tries to understand. He has a tremendous sense of wonderment, but Padox always recreates lags and sets things back into free play: a difference that inspires amusement and kindness.
