Lucie Bazzo has been active in the theatre and dance fields for over 25 years, where she has, notably, designed the lighting for choreographies by Jean-Pierre Perreault, Sylvain Émard, Ginette Laurin, Benoît Lachambre, Crystal Pite, Lynda Gaudreau and the Les Sœurs Schmutt. In theatre, she has worked for the directors Robert Lepage, Denis Marleau, Marc Béland, Michel Poirier, Marcel Pomerlo and Céline Bonnier. Along her incredible career path she has collaborated with Ariane Moffatt, Clara Furey and Urbain Desbois for their concerts. She has also contributed to exhibitions at the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts Musée and the Grande Bibliothèque. Lucie Bazzo has been a loyal Filles électriques collaborator in her capacity as a lighting and stage designer. For the Festival Phénomena she will be creating light installation-paintings that will be exhibited in Mile-End merchants’ shop windows for a two week period.
