Bath House

Co-presented by Tangente / Phénomena

Bath House is a short work of dance contortion that explores the idea of territory, invasion, and the need to escape repression. Three contortionists’ bodies are restricted to a precise path, coming closer together at times but never interacting.

Conception: Andréane Leclerc.

Cherepaka

Inspired by Francis Bacon’s paintings and by Gilles Deleuze’s Logique de la sensation, Cherepaka is a scenographic composition exploring the becoming-animal that seeks to deconstruct contortionism in order to reveal a bodily language, a subject of representation.

The Phénomena Festival and Tangente are excited to embark on their third collaboration by co-presenting Andréane Leclerc, an extraordinary artist with a unique background.
