Contemporary puppetry

Ten years after its creation, the Mobile Home company revisits its puppet show Balthazar. Through its minimalist décor including a baby carriage and a large trunk, the audience follows the life of Balthazar, an old man and former accordionist exiled from an unknown war. Through recollections of his fragile loves and shreds of his childhood, the show examines nostalgia and the fragility of our existences in a delicate, poetic manner. His mother, father, and love visit him in his sleep.

First created in 2004, this show has been presented over 150 times at many different festivals. Phénomena spectators will get a chance to enjoy all of its poetry in the magical Champ des Possibles.
