Open laboratory with Fabrizio Montecchi

The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, written in 1886 by Robert Louis Stevenson, still fascinates us with its elements of the fantastic. Characters struggling under the weight of social conventions are still suffering in the 21st century. The good Dr. Jekyll is still operating in various forms. His alter ego, Mr. Hyde, is just as mysterious, complicated, and alive as he was in the 19th century.

Marcelle Hudon has adapted the novel for the stage and takes advantage of Fabrizio Montecchi’s presence (her mentor in shadow theatre) to perform excerpts from her work in progress and pose a few fundamental questions raised by this challenge.
