Stephanie Bolster

Stephanie Bolster has published three collections: White Stone: The Alice Poems, which won the Governor General's Award and the Gerald Lampert Award in 1998; Two Bowls of Milk, which won the Archibald Lampman Award and was shortlisted for the Trillium Award; and Pavilion. Born and raised in Vancouver, she now lives in Montreal and teaches creative writing at Concordia University. She recently edited The Ishtar Gate: Last and Selected Poems by the late Ottawa poet Diana Brebner and is working on a book of poems about zoos. Her first book, White Stone, will appear in French with Les Éditions du Noroît in autumn 2007, translated by Daniel Canty.
