Kaie Kellough

Kaie Kellough is a Caribbean Canadian writer, poet, and performer. He is the author of lettricity (Cumulus press), a first collection of poems that garnered national acclaim. Known for slow-bopping rhythms, jazz inflections, and a unique ability to deconstruct language using sound, his performances have been featured on television programs (Bravo, Global, Zed), CBC radio programs, and stages across the nation. Further, his poetry, essays, and articles have been published in periodicals and newspapers throughout Canada. A naturalized montrealer, originally from the way-out west, Kaie has long been active as a community arts organizer and a community radio producer. He is an original member of Montreal’s extensive and well-respected Kalmunity Vibe Collective.
