Nadine Walsh

For the past 15 years, Nadine Walsh has covered much ground: dance, puppeteering, mime, masked game-playing, martial arts and lastly theatre, in which she completed an undergraduate degree at UQAM in 1999. But it was when delving into the Medieval period that Nadine came across the art of storytelling: fables for children and more… spicy tales for adults. Today, her stories draw on her roots in the Saguenay, those of First Nations peoples, the early colonists and even early humans in search of Time, Memory, Encounters. You may have heard her at Le Sergent Recruteur, or during the Mardis-Gras evenings, or in one of the many storytelling events that are such a specialty in Quebec.
